DR. ACHYUT ADHIKARI
Dr. Achyut Adhikari is a well-experienced chemical researcher with some remarkable research works throughout the globe. He did his M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry, 2015) from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, Ph. D. (Organic Chemistry, 2010) from H.E.J., ICCBS, University of Karachi, Pakistan and Postdoctoral (Department of Pharmacy, 2013) in University of Sao Paulo, Ribero Preto, Brazil. His work can be seen in his 66 research papers done throughout his career till date. He also own patents for “Bio-active antioxidants from plant foods for nutraceutical product development”, (US2014/0221634 A1, 2014), and “A novel method to isolate Inoscavin A from fulviformes fastuosus and medicinal preparation thereof to treat rhabdomyosarcoma cancer conditions”, (WO/2017/013477, 2017).
BISHNU BAHADUR KHATRI
Mr. Khatri is a well-renowned socio-active practitioner lawyer, License of Advocate since 2001 (Licence no: 7874), with more than fifteen years of working experience in development projects and consultancy services on gender equality and social inclusion, climate change, child rights, child labour, child friendly local governance, enterprise development, employment, value chain, social audit, human rights, peace, governance, migration, social protection, and different development issues in Nepal. He also has significant exposure on project cycle management, proposal writing, research study, need assessment, business plan development, gender equality and social inclusion audit, project evaluation, organization development, local planning process, fund raising, curricula/toolkit development, training planning and facilitation, ToT, writing books, training manuals, articles and translation in various issues in national level. He also has successfully managed numbers of projects funded by different donors, bi-lateral multilateral agencies, INGOs, UN agencies and many others.
Mrs. Sanju KC has an enormous knowledge and experience regarding research. Her research ability is enhanced by more than fifteen years of working experience in social and development projects, especially on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), enterprise development, governance, social audit, local level planning, child friendly local governance (CFLG), social mobilization and civic oversight, Participatory Organizational Capacity Analysis Process (POCAP), financial management, monitoring and evaluation and different issues in Nepal. She also holds significant exposure on training need assessment, business plan development, gender equality and social inclusion audit, project evaluation, local planning process, training module/ manual/ curriculum/ toolkit development, ToT, training planning and facilitation in various issues in national level.
Mr. Sanjeev is a specialist in research who is affianced as a social mobilizer in various projects of BRBIP funded by ADB. Based on his research he has made several publications and paper presentations. One of the many is the ‘World Symposium on Climate Change Adaptation’. He is a qualified Master Degree Holder in Sustainable Development Practise and has a certificate course on Impacts of Governance for Sustainability in International Trade. His major is in conducting field study for in-depth data collections through interviews, focus group discussions and other informal methods in study districts with political parties and local government institutions. He has given his expertise to many organizations and has also worked as a research instructor. He has over seven years of experience as a research expert in the Nepalese industry. He has also assisted and supported the team for review and analysis of the qualitative data involving interviewing agencies.
SAGAR GODAR CHHETRI
Mr. Sagar is a proud graduate in Master in Forest Resources from the Mississippi State University, USA. He is a specialist in forestry and has made several publications. Among which ‘Forest Certification in Nepal’ published in 2012 is one of them. He has been in this field of industry since more than five years and has experience in both local and international level. He has worked as a Programme Officer and District Coordinator where he has been responsible for a number of tasks like forest tree measurements, adaptation plan, preparation of climate change, implementation of silvicultural operations in community forests and man more. Apart from research he is also an experienced consultant in forestry where he has worked with various international organisations. Mr. Sagar has an exposure of both local and international market and has conducted various trainings as an instructor.
Mr. Gnawali has over seven years of experience in the field of Conflict Peace and Development Studies. His base is research and has worked as a research officer alone for over five years. He is a specialist in conducting baseline surveys, mid-term reviews, final evaluation, impact on assessments. He is also well aware of carrying out research, impact and outcome analysis of the projects. He also has a knowledge on management, documentation, dissemination (Mapping using GIS, quantitative data analysis using SPSS). He has a strong hold on SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) and GIS (Geographic Information System). His experience as a programme officer has exposed and excelled him to brief work progress, coordinate and facilitate programme.
Mr. Bikas is one of the recognised individual in Nepalese Industry where he has won a number of prestigious awards. One of the many is Nepal Bidhya Bhushan presented to him on 2017 by the Ministry of Education. He is a highly-qualified individual with two Bachelor’s Degree and two Master’s Degree. He has worked as an executive director where his chief responsibilities were to study the national and international development priorities and demands, design the project and finalising the proposal, monitoring of the project activities, mobilising the staffs, capacity enhancement of staffs and stakeholders. He has also highly engaged himself in the promotion of good governance, implementation of climate change adaptation strategies, promotion of community based natural resource management and reconstruction. Apart from is sole responsibilities he is also highly involved as a data specialist and is a lecturer of Psychology.
Currently indulged with Post-Doctoral research in College of Pharmacy, Korea University, Jochiwon, South Korea, Mr. Paudel did his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from College of Pharmacy, Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea and Masters of Sciences from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, Rheinbach, Germany. He has worked as research assistant, researcher and teaching assistant in various universities based in South Korea, and has worked as production pharmacist and analytical pharmacist in laboratories in Nepal. He has also successfully published 10 research journals in collaboration with other researchers. Apart from that, he is well-engaged and active in trainings and workshops organised by various national and international organisations.
Ms. Roshani Gyawali is a proud graduate from Turku University, Finland. She is a compliance specialist and is currently working in First Republic Bank, USA. She has been in this field of business since more than five years and has also acknowledged many grants and honours. She has also a research paper published and several other publications published in Kantipur Publications. Her field of work includes implementing SAML based Single-sign on (SSO), coordinating activities related to IT compliance, compiling and tracking potential gaps, coordinating between Internal Audit and Information Technology organization for audit and many more. She has an international exposure and is an expert in tracking control gaps remediation.
With his PhD in Plant Science from Aarhus University, Slagelse, Denmark and MSc in Horticulture from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India, he is facilitated with wide knowledge on application of non-destructive sensors based technologies; such as near infrared spectroscopy, multi/ hyper spectral imaging for improving seed quality. He is also writer for 9 research journals which is professionally reviewed, amongst which 7 are published and 2 are under review. Hence, he is a well-equipped researcher for any sort of agricultural research and development.
He is am environmental economist with remarkable experience in fields pertaining to REDD+, climate change, forestry, tenure, livelihood enhancement, and sustainable forest management. He holds his Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing from Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, Nepal and MSc. Management, Economics and Consumer Studies from Wageningen Universiteit en Research Centrum, Wageningen, The Netherlands. He has a hands on experience as researcher in Forest Action Nepal, Lalitpur, Nepal where he polished his capability of multitasking, working under pressure and writing skills.
